Before I hear any shit about this decision, let me make this clear:

New members are great, active members that contribute to the site are greater.

I don't know what the fuck is going on, but we've had four or five new accounts a day, ALL spam accounts. I went through our member list and purged all of the accounts that are inactive (not verified with an e-mail address). When I was looking through the accounts, I noticed that NONE of those e-mails were real (i.e.

). Thanks to Jake and Hacks, we have it set up so members can't post without verifying their e-mail, so that explains why there were no spam threads or you would all be reading 20 new posts a day about penis-enhancement pills and free iPhones.

Anyways, if you notice, our member list is considerably smaller, but you'll recognize all of the names on there. (I was going to delete ForSaKen, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, his posts were full of win.) You won't see any missing posts, because the people deleted were either banned or didn't post in the first place.

You guys know I maintain this site because of you. I'm not here to make a bagillion dollars. It costs me $10 a month to host this site. Money is tight, but in the words of Master Chief, "Who doesn't have $10? I wipe my ass with $10!"

Honestly, new members are great, but it's rare that we find a cool one. Out of every 10, it seems like only one or two are worth keeping around. The rest get banned, have bitchfits and leave, or never post. So, you guys don't have to worry about busting your asses to add new members like we used to.

I've given a lot of thought to making this site a private clan-type site, but I was advised against it, so I haven't done it. It seems that we've become a cliquey as those we hated so much at The Site That Shall Not Be Named.

Some of the members of our original "group" refuse to play with the "new" members...most of which have been around for almost 7 months, since the site went up, lol. I think some of you have lost hope that we're going to be finding anyone else that fits in with our group of homies so well. (I have a few I've met in MM that I think you guys would like, but I'll have to introduce you, lol.)

Anyways, I was very VERY sick the last few weeks, and I'm not kidding when I say that it caused me to seriously reconsider a few things. I'm going to quit my full-time job and slow the fuck down in a big way. I'll be going back to what I do best: sitting on my fat ass at home, playing Halo, and being lazy. I miss this site, I miss Halo, I miss you guys, and I fucking HATE work. My 65 hour work weeks and the constant fighting at home has taken a toll on me in a big way. I've been through a lot of "inactivity" periods on forums, and I finally figured out one of the problems of why some die and others prosper.

The admins don't care to step up. I mean, sure they notice, but they even usually are out doing "real pplz" work. Tina, you care enough about the site and all of us to do something about it. *claps*

Now enough of that crap. I won't be found on XBL any time during the week. Simply put... High School (and no Hackz not your high school where you seem to have 20 min of homework everynight). My workload would make even Hackz consider fucking Kristen Bell or Elysha Cuthbert.

So I'll only be found on XBL on the weekends (and a very rare in a while weekday). Plus, I still have to buy myself a new mic (I'll probably do that this weekend with some of the money I've saved up).

Roman, homework is overrated. Invest that time in something productive, like XBL with your super awesome friends. I'm sure you can pay some fucktard to do it for you, but I'm guessing you're one of those goody-goodys that actually ENJOYS intellectual stimulation....lame.

Anyways, I have to go down to the pharmacy and have a prescription filled and then I'll be on XBL today. I feel the need to dome some bitches and after I take this particular medication, I won't be able to stand up for roughly 3 hours, it makes me uber dizzy. So I may slur and fall asleep on you guys.
